Create Change.

Caring Unlimited was founded by volunteers, and it is the continued support of volunteers that makes it possible for us to offer sustained and life changing programs and services to so many individuals and families in York County.

How You Can Help: Become a Helpline Advocate

  • Offer support and information to callers on the 24- Hour Helpline.

  • Receive comprehensive training* and ongoing support.

  • Choose your shifts according to your schedule: all shifts are done from your home with the support of on-call Caring Unlimited staff.

  • One year commitment of two shifts per month expected.

*40 hour training required by the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence

There are many ways to help and your help is needed. Caring Unlimited’s vision is to see an end to domestic violence in York County and throughout the state — if we continue to educate communities, advocate for victims, fund valuable resources and support agencies like Caring Unlimited, that vision might be realized.
