Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodation Notice
Caring Unlimited is a Fair Housing Provider. We are committed to providing equal access to housing services. If you have a disability, you have the right to request a reasonable accommodation to access residential services or any program of CU. We will review all requests promptly and confidentially.
To request an reasonable accommodation:

Complete a request form
Review and Determination:
You will receive an acknowledgement of your request within 2 business days if you indicate that it is safe for us to contact you and leave a message. Your request will be reviewed by a designated staff person in consultation with a CU Administrator. You may be asked to provide additional information. Decisions on requests will be made promptly within 10 business days of the request and receipt of any additional information.
Right to appeal:
You may request an appeal of our decision within 7 days following the steps in our complaint procedure above. Shelter exit appeals must be made within 48 hours. Information on filing a fair housing complaint is available on Maine State Housing Authority’s website Fair Housing - MaineHousing
