Help is Available after an Arrest

If your partner or family member has been arrested for committing a domestic violence crime against you, you are not alone.  

After an arrest for a domestic violence crime has been made, the victim, friends, and other family often have many questions about what will happen next.

If you are the named victim: Victim Witness Advocates (VWA) at the District Attorney’s Office can answer questions and offer information about the charges and the criminal court process.
