Domestic Abuse
Caring Unlimited Transitional Housing & Services Program
Safe, affordable supportive housing for up to 24 months designed to help battered women rebuild their lives after leaving an abusive relationship.
The Transitional Housing and Services Program increases safety for victims of domestic violence in York County by providing safe, affordable housing for up to 24 months with a comprehensive program of supportive services for families who have become homeless because of domestic abuse. During their time in the program survivors of domestic abuse work to reorganize their lives, create a network of supportive relationships, and establish a more secure economic base in order to be able to adequately support themselves and their children after leaving the program.
Each year approximately 20 families participate in Caring Unlimited's Transitional Housing and Services Program.
