Domestic Abuse
Caring Unlimited Children's Services Program
The Children’s Services Program responds to children who have lived or are living with domestic violence. Domestic Violence affects every member of the family including the children. Children almost always see and hear more than we believe they do.
The Children’s Services Program provides:
- Parenting groups that help cultivate strong parenting skills for mothers who are sole caregivers
- Children’s activity groups that provide a safe, nurturing environment for children to articulate domestic violence issues
- Assistance with material needs such as clothing and school supplies
- On site childcare while mothers are attending Support Groups
- Our Domestic Violence/Child Protective Services Liaison provides information and consultation with CPS caseworkers and individualized safety planning and support to non-offending parents who have experienced domestic abuse and are involved with the CPS system.
