School Based Programs
Caring Unlimited’s School-Based Program supports York County's students and educators by providing information, resources and advocacy relating to dating abuse and violence.
The School-Based Program works to increase a school community's awareness of dating abuse, provide direct support and advocacy to students, parents and school personnel, and motivate young people to be proactive in bringing an end to violence in their communities.
School-Based Educators are available to collaborate with teachers and faculty, present information about dating violence to students, and work with students as peer educators. Through classroom presentations students learn the dynamics of dating abuse, types of abuse, how to help a friend, and much more.
